From Milan I took a long train and bus ride to Koper, Slovenia. Koper is a beautiful coastal city next to Trieste. I particularly loved hanging out at a salt marsh nature park, filled with Egrets:

I did a Harp Tuesday weekends session here and then, as a bonus, got to see the finals of the women’s lead climbing event, with Slovenian super-star Janja Gernbret taking home the gold.
I’ve never climbed myself but I’ve enjoyed following the sport these past few years and it was actually really cool to watch and cheer in person.
Next up, Ljubljana and some good hiking
