Sunday Spotlight for April 5, 2015

Leading off today’s Sunday Spotlight, this is fun – various composer’s treble clefs…

trebleclefs

I originally saw this come by on my facebook feed.  A google search turned up various instances of it, but I couldn’t find any attribution for the photo. Also, I assume it’s true, but I haven’t checked… :)  Here’s another link with with several different composers: http://www.classicfm.com/discover/music/composer-manuscript-handwriting/

Then, this is an amazing resource – the New York Philharmonic Digital Archive.  All sorts of scores and parts available for viewing.  Want to see how someone else dealt with a tricky fingering or pedal passage?  Check here and you might be in luck!

And finally, speaking of music, IMSLP.org is, of course, an amazing resource with a vast archive of public domain sheet music.

That’s it for this week – see you next week!
