Description
A collection of six transcriptions for lever harp! For 34 string, fully levered harp (though if you have more than 34 strings you’ll have opportunities to use those additional strings).
Intermediate-advanced difficulty level. The Bach is probably the easiest, the Thomas and Granados are the hardest and are quite challenging. All the pieces include at least a few lever changes.
Transcriptions for Lever Harp, Volume 2 consists of three pieces written originally for another instrument (lute/harpsichord/piano):
J.S Bach: Lute Prelude BWV 999
François Couperin: Le Dodo, ou L’ Amour au Berceau
Enrique Granados: Spanish Dance No. 5 (Andaluza) from 12 Spanish Dances
And three pieces written originally for pedal harp:
Marcel Tournier: Noël No. 1 and Soupir
John Thomas: The Minstrel’s Adieu to his Native Land
All lever changes are marked, as well as extensive fingering suggestions and an in-depth discussion of French Baroque ornamentation.
