Favourite photos from March, 2025

Continuing to post some of my favourite photos from this year. With March, daylight hours were starting to get a longer, making it easier to get outside!

More signs of spring, a lunar eclipse, a close encounter with a bald eagle, and more…

  1. Great photos Josh. I particularly love the way you captured the people in the boats in the mist cold (are they pulling in a net?) And the final one of the animal breaking the water. What is it? Not being from your part of the world I’m not sure. A Beaver perhaps? Great shot and print. Thanks for posting!

    1. Hi Susan! Sorry for the late reply! It’s a river otter (in the ocean, ironically). We get quite a few of them here, and they always seem to be having a great time swimming and eating :)

And the ship photo was interesting – there was this low-lying cloud/fog bank, so you could see the water, then fog, then the top half of the ship, including smokestacks. I think so sort of cargo ship.
