By April it’s definitely spring in Victoria, lots of flowers and cherry blossoms (which I didn’t really capture this year) and lots of daylight.
April ended up being a rather busy month for me, including a trip over to Vancouver to adjudicate a harp festival, but I still managed to get out to take photos a bit, including catching a sunset at the aptly named Sunset Beach in Vancouver.

A magnolia, assuming that’s what the photo was of, is absolutely my favorite. I’m instantly transported to my grandmother’s special tree that I would climb and read in any time I smell them, and often even when I just see them in a photo!
Hah, nice! That photo was from Finnerty Garden, where I’ve filmed quite a few Harpist in the Wild videos :)
