After leaving Budapest I took the train up to Vienna. A beautiful city – I wanted to take more photos, but the day I planned to do so it rained. Managed to get to several concerts, including a fantastic performance of Mussorgsky’s opera Khovanshchina by the Vienna State Opera.
Was also able to practice a bit, thanks to fellow harpist Elizabeth Wenzel for letting me use her harp! (And for showing me around Vienna a bit).
Vienna has a great public bike system – I do a lot of bicycling at home, so it was great to get a chance to bike :)
